During the pandemic, how might we find and participate art events happening around us?
AVA engages with audience through multiple platforms: A website and an app. With AVA, art lovers can explore events within a preset distance, look up events by categories, experience virtual events on AVA's very site, and manage registered events sorted chronologically in the calendar feature. AVA promises to deliver service and experience in the most accessible and explicit way for your best convenience during this special period.

User Flow
We started structuring the web flow by mapping out wanted features and possible ways to encounter different steps. In this process we further clarified the logic of our site. The main challenge for this part is to present a distilled version with only key features navigate through 5 web pages( as the assignment requested.)
Wireframe
In this process we aimed to maximize the connivence of our Calendar Feature, along with features sorting and looking up events in a chronological order for people who tend to attend art events regularly. In order to deliver interactive experience, we designed the Distance Feature in concentric circles shapes and added a slider to adjust radius range.
Usability Testing
To test the usability of our website, we conduct 3 interviews and asked participants to perform Think Aloud Protocol. The overall feedback we got was positive and people like the distance feature a lot. People also hoped to see more community engagement linking individuals to event hosts and sharing events with friends on social media, which meets our next step plan for AVA, to extend our digital impact and boost users' passion to arts in the physical world.
Reflection
Overall we are happy with the outcome of this project. As the focus of this project is coding skills, we had to drop a lot of brilliant designs when we started coding. If we had more time and got more advanced with coding, we would bring those ideas to life. We would also develop touch points to promote our brand to gain public attention.
